Pediatric dermatology
Some skin diseases only appear in childhood and require special diagnostic and therapeutic measures.
Our main areas of treatment in pediatric dermatology are atopic dermatitis, hay fever, allergies, warts, moles and hemangiomas, as well as treatment and care tips for teenage acne.
DIAGNOSIS
Special diagnostics and treatment for children’s skin
Like adult skin, children’s skin can also be affected by inflammation, allergies and tumors. However, children’s skin is not the skin of “small adults”. Some of the active ingredients can be used by adults without any problems, but are not tolerated by children. The skin and immune system react differently in young children in particular. This is why many skin diseases look different in children than in adults.
