PRP autologous blood therapy
PRP against hair loss
NATURAL PROCESSES FOR HIGHLY CONDITIONED GROWTH
The PRP method, which stands for platelet-rich plasma, describes a natural process in which concentrated plasma from the body is used to promote hair growth.
PROCEDURE
The first step in this procedure is to take blood and then centrifuge it. The resulting platelet-rich plasma, which contains highly concentrated growth factors and stem cells, is then injected directly into the affected areas of skin by a doctor using a fine needle. The plasma essence stimulates the regeneration of the hair follicles, increases blood circulation, stimulates the hair roots and thus supports hair growth. Several sessions are usually required to combat hereditary or inflammatory hair loss in the long term. A single treatment usually takes 15 minutes.
PROCESS
Preparation
It is recommended not to take any painkillers containing acetylsalicylic acid for 10 days prior to treatment.
Anesthesia
PRP treatment is performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia.
Aftercare
No downtime required. As plasma is an endogenous substance, this method is well tolerated. Only slight redness and swelling may occur immediately after application.
First head wash
The hair can be washed as usual the day after the treatment.
