Venous diseases/ phlebology
Many people are affected by vein problems
Millions of people in Germany have vein problems. These often manifest themselves in the form of bag-shaped enlarged and nodular varicose veins, which are not only visually unappealing, but can also cause serious medical complaints. Symptoms include swelling of the lower legs, skin changes, sluggishness of the legs and, in severe cases, lower leg ulcers.
VENEER SUFFERING
Untreated venous disease can lead to phlebitis, which in turn can cause deep vein thrombosis with life-threatening consequences. The formation of blood clots (thrombosis) occurs due to damage to the blood vessel walls. If a clot breaks loose, it can cause an embolism in the lungs.
While fine spider veins are primarily an aesthetic problem, varicose veins can cause pain and tightness.
The optimal end result of vein therapy is to treat diseased veins while taking cosmetic aspects into account.
